‘Top’ could mean ‘upper’ or on ‘higher ground’.
Thalassery if famous for its cake (Kerala’s first bakery), cricket (first place in India it was played) and circuses.
The first circus school in India was established here in 1901 and in 2010 Thalassery Circus Academy was founded (unfortunately it closed in 2016).
