‘Confluence’ [Sangampura/Sangam] – City

Sanguem is the meeting point of the Sanguem/Selaulim, Zuari and Uguem rivers. The Selaulim river flows into the Selaulim Dam, a 43.7m dam with a water area of 24 sq. km supplying water and irrigation for the whole of South Goa.
