‘Abode of Nandi’  [Nandalluru] City/District, Andhra Pradesh 

From Nandi or Skt: nandā/nanda, ‘prosperity’, ‘happiness’; and ālaya, ‘abode’, ‘house’.

Nandi is the sacred bull and vehicle of Siva.

Nandyal is surrounded by nine Siva temples (Nava Nandi): Garudanandi, Krishnanandi/Vishnunandi, Mahanandi, Naganandi, Prathamanandi, Shivanandi, Somanandi, Suryanandi and Vinayakanandi.

There is even a Nandi idol at the nearby Sri Yaganti Uma Maheswara Temple that has a large Nandi statue idol that appears to grow at the rate of of one inch ever 20 years.
