Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple in Haripad is dedicated to Agaraja, the snake god. Thousands of snake images adorn the pathway to the temple. According to legend the ‘Hall of Pilgrimage’, leading to the was lined with mandara trees.
This forest temple is ancient and is an important pilgrimage centre for the snake god worshippers.
