Kiribath is a traditional Sri Lankan dish made by cooking rice with coconut milk and is specially made for celebrations.
Kiribathgoda is only 12km from central Colombo. Perhaps it was famous at one time for supplying kiribath to the City, or even the Kotte kingdom.
