Dhawalpuri.  From Dhaulya and Skt: puri, ‘town’, ‘city’.

The Dhaulyas (also Dhauliya, Dholya, Dhavala, Dholia) are a clan of Jats (a non-elite pastoral community in north and west India) who ruled in parts of Rajasthan before the Rajputs. They founded Dholpur in the 6th-8thC, and possibly Dhule (see Maharashtra).
