‘City of King Bhaluka’ Town, Arunachal Pradesh
Bhaluka, according to local folklore, was the grandson of Bana, a legendary king whose capital was at neighbouring Tezpur (Assam).
Archaeological ruins of King Bhaluka’s kingdom are supposedly preserved here and there are also traces of a later 10thC fort.
